After having a long break in updating I'm back (huzzah! bravo! etc etc.) Here is the short strip that I submitted for the BICS. The writing is very small, but don't worry about that, the plot is a bit daft anyway, and you can always click to see the full size image if you are interested.

Traditional Media

I have a uni brief entitled Traditional Media in which I have been rediscovering the medium of paint. After a few primary drafts, I settled with Acrylic rather than watercolours, because I prefer it both in the application and in the end result. Some sketchbook paintings were all that was required, but as often happens when I'm enjoying a way of working, I went on further and created these canvases. I'm pretty happy with the end result in itself, but also with the honing of my painting techniques. I've improved in the technicalities of and the speed of application with the medium and as such it has proved to be one of the more useful briefs over the year.

I'm fairly certain that if it wasn't for spidey, or Luke Ross' spidey inparticular, I never would have persued art to the level that I have.
